Open Positions

Board of Directors

This is your chance to get involved and make a difference within your residence hall. Being a part of your hall’s BoD provides you with a multitude of leadership experiences and skills to develop. You will be given the opportunity to plan events for the residents of your hall to enjoy throughout the year. Each Board of Directors offers unique engagement opportunities to their halls, and being a member offers you organization experience, life-long memories, and valuable friendships!

Programming Board

The RHA Programming Board is a team responsible for creating and hosting engaging events on a campus-wide scale, similar to a hall's Board of Directors, but for all residence halls. These events may be philanthropic, educational, or social and are designed to be both fun and meaningful for the entire campus community. Members of the board gain valuable experience in budgeting, planning large-scale events, collaborating in a team, and leading their own programs. Through their work, they advocate for residents, educate their peers, and provide enjoyable opportunities for all students living in the residence halls.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee oversees everything graphically related to the Residence Halls Association. This could be anything from photography to website design! No experience is required to join! All members will be taught the necessary skills needed at the Prepare to Program conference and throughout the school year.

ECO Representatives

Eco-Reps are a team of student leaders who promote sustainability in OSU’s residence halls through fun, educational, and eco-friendly events. Similar to the Programming Board, Eco-Reps focus on creating engaging programs with sustainability at the forefront. They lead by example, raise awareness about green living, and support initiatives like ResLife Recycles. Through peer education, outreach, and stewardship-focused programming, Eco-Reps inform students about helpful resources that support both basic student needs and the well-being of the Earth and advancing OSU’s core value of Stewardship of Resources.

Wellness Committee

The Wellness Committee promotes mental, physical, and emotional health through events like stress relief activities, self-care nights, and wellness workshops. Help create a healthier, more supportive community.

Community Engagement Committee

The Community Engagement Committee connects residents with the broader community through service projects and outreach events. It fosters a sense of belonging by encouraging meaningful involvement and celebrating the unique experiences, voices, and backgrounds that make our campus stronger.
